Pittsburgh Pride Wins With A Shutout!

It was a beautiful Saturday afternoon for a football game and the Pittsburgh Pride did it again!  The Pride won against the N.E.O.  Disciples with a score of 13-0.  It was a very competitive game.  Anyone who is interested in seeing some great summer football, check out the Pittsburgh Pride for a complete schedule of upcoming games.

Congratulations to Angela Sarkis and Ben Ferguson, who were married this past Saturday in Our Lady of Grace church in Scott Township.  Their reception was held at the Airport Marriott.  It was a lovely wedding.

The Kindergarten class at St. John the Baptist school had their graduation ceremony on June 4th.  We had the pleasure of taping this event again.  Congratulations to the little ones and good luck in 1st grade next year!

Week of April 23

Our weekend was quite busy.  James was at Freeport High School taping Lisa Marie’s Dance Recital.  There were two shows on Saturday and one on Sunday.   Tracy helped a fellow videographer and taped a wedding at St. Bartholomew’s church in Crabtree.  We also did a tribute video for Patrick Lanigan Funeral Home.

“Annie Get Your Gun”

We had the pleasure of videotaping the Belle Vernon High School Musical, “Annie Get Your Gun” on Saturday, March 17th.  There were some very talented students who took part in the musical, including a freshman, who played Annie.  All of the students who participated did a fantastic job!

Section Champs!!

Congratulations to both the Penn Trafford girls and boys basketball teams for winning their sections!  This is the second year in a row that the Lady Warriors won their section.  Both teams defeated  Norwin on Friday night.  Playoffs will start this weekend.  Good luck to both of our teams!

Kori Edge just booked her wedding with us for August 18th.  We are looking forward to being a part of her special day.

Sanders Video has just added another service!  We are now offering slide transfers.  Pull out those old boxes filled with slides and have them transferred to DVDs.

Cinderella Ball 2012

We had the honor of, once again, taping the Cinderella Ball at the Omni William Penn on January 28th.  There were 20 debutantes this year.  It was a very elegant evening and we were happy to be a part of it.

We traveled to Cleveland to do a training shoot for PNC bank on January 26th.  We have also done several tribute DVDs for the two funeral homes that we are involved with, Jobe Funeral Home and Lanigan Funeral Home.

The Penn Trafford Lady Warrior basketball team has had wins against Franklin, Gateway and Hempfield.  It looks like the girls will be going to the playoffs for sure!  It is senior night for both the girls and the boys teams tomorrow evening, the 7th.

Last, but not least, we taped some footage from the Cavanaugh bridal show that was held in Pittsburgh.

Interview of Pitt Magazine Senior Editor

We had the pleasure of meeting and interviewing Mr. Ervin Dyer, senior editor for Pitt Magazine.  He had nominated Mr. Wallace Houston Terry for honors with the National Association for Black Journalists. Mr. Terry was the first black war correspondent on permanent duty during the Vietnam War.

We traveled to Clairton High School to shoot the latest Teen Zone TV episode, which focuses on bullying in the schools.

The last 2 weeks have been busy with quite a few basketball games.  It’s been an amazing couple of weeks for the Penn Trafford boys team, as they had 4 section wins over Connellsville, Latrobe, Norwin and Hempfield.  The Penn Trafford girls team won big over Laurel Highlands, Norwin and Latrobe.

We recently booked several weddings for 2012.  We are very excited to be a part of the Dinga, Decker and Sklarsky weddings!

Week of October 31

The Penn Trafford Lady Warriors lost to Peters Twp. in the semifinals on Tuesday night. They are moving on to the state finals next week. The North Allegheny Lady Tigers also lost to Upper St. Clair on Tuesday. They are also moving on to states. Congratulations go out to both teams on a great season!

We interviewed Sister Genvieve from Sisters of the Divine about her recollections on the history of other nuns and their influence on the convent. She is in her 90s, has a very sharp mind and is a natural in front of the camera.

Congratulations to newlyweds Mary Jo and Kevin Kerr, who were married on November 5th. The ceremony was at Corpus Christi in McKeesport and the reception was held at Sheraton Station Square.
